has been held at the scientific editions department.

I’d like to become a song…

On March 2, 2016, there was held the literary soiree devoted to the 145th anniversary of the
outstanding Ukrainian writer, fighter for life and love Lesya Ukrainka (Larisa Kosach).
This event took place in the library.

The senior researcher of Kharkiv Literary Museum Natalia Rudenko told the students of the University about the hard lot of the artist and her passion for Ukrainian songs. Students inspiredly recited poems which are spiritually close to them...

My life is a cinematography!

On February 25, 2016, there was held the event dedicated to the 80th anniversary of
A. M. Faustov. This event took place in the conference room of the library. From 1965
to 2009 Arkady Faustov ​was the head of the KhPI Film Studio. He was a producer,
a teacher and a master.

There were many people who came to the meeting. His friends,colleges and studio - pupils, students and the staff of the Polytechnic Institute were among them. Everyone wanted to say a few words about the hero of the day. Arkady Faustov was a bright, intelligent, multifaced and witty personality. Poetry, music and songs sounded. The Kharkiv Orbit

On February 10, 2016, as a part of the programme of the celebration of the 55th Anniversary
of the First Human Space Flight, the Youth Photo Contest «The Kharkiv Orbit» was announced
in the NTU «KhPI» library.

The meeting was attended by the representatives of the Public Coordinating Committee «Kharkiv space rocket» and Kharkiv Association of children’s Screen Arts «Dytiatko». The specialists-veterans, most of them are graduates of Polytech, told about the achievements of Kharkiv Region in rocket and space industry.
