The main stages of formation and development of the electrical engineering industry of Ukraine during the XX century based on the involvement of a representative source base are investigated in the monograph.
The achievements of Ukrainian electrical engineers in the following directions are described: electric power engineering, electromechanics, electrical measuring technique, theoretical electrical engineering, and high voltage engineering. The integration processes of forming the scientific support system for the electrical engineering industry, which organically combines academic institutes and branch institutes, higher technical educational establishments and design bureaus of industrial enterprises are presented.
