The textbook, based on the systematic approach, outlines the main sections of modern general chemistry: the nomenclature and properties of inorganic substances, basic concepts and laws of chemistry, energetics and kinetics of chemical processes, the structure of atoms and chemical bonds, solutions, oxidation-reduction reaction, complex compounds, the basics of electrochemistry and corrosion of metals. After each chapter there are questions and tasks for students’ independent work, which make it possible to objectively determine students training level in chemistry.
