Kostyria Iryna Valentynivna is Candidate of Pedagogical Sciences, Associate Professor of the Department of Social System Control Pedagogy and Psychology named after I. A. Ziaziun of National Technical University «Kharkiv Polytechnic Institute», the academic group curator.

In 1986 she graduated from Kharkiv Polytechnic Institute (now is National Technical University «Kharkiv Polytechnic Institute») and qualified as a mechanical engineer majoring in «Machines and technologies of foundry production», in 2015 she completed second higher education studies at National Technical University «Kharkiv Polytechnic Institute» majoring in «Higher School Pedagogy» and qualified as a teacher of higher educational institutions.

Since 2016 Kostyria I. V. has been engaged in scientific and pedagogical activities.

In 2018 Kostyria I. V. defended her PhD dissertation. She was conferred the degree of Candidate of Pedagogical Sciences, specialty 13.00.07 — theory and practice of education. Dissertation topic: «Formuvannia liderskoi pozytsii maibutnikh inzheneriv u vyshchykh tekhnichnykh navchalnykh zakladakh» [Forming of the leadership position of future engineers in higher technical educational institutions]. The defense took place on the basis of M. Kotsiubynskyi Vinnytsia State Pedagogical University.

The main scientific interests of I. V. Kostyria: training leaders in education, industry, and economy; formation of a leadership position among graduates of a higher technical school; creation of a practical system for training future psychologists and high school teachers; students’ education.
