The training manual provides the brief description of the technical and technological components of informatics as an independent branch of science. The historical aspects of the development of informatics separate components, their content and some directions of further development are considered. The author shows the influence of informatics on other areas of contemporary science and human activity in general. In addition the results of educational and scientific activities in the form of reports and scientific articles are placed. A separate appendix provides a list of literature from the considered components of informatics.
The publication is intended for students studying in the direction 6.040302 «Informatics». It can be used as a training manual while studying the discipline «Informatics» in other areas of training. It can be recommended to school-leavers.
