Dolska Olga Oleksiivna is Professor of Philosophy of the Kharkov National Technical University «Kharkiv Polytechnic Institute», Doctor of Philosophy.
Born on December 27, 1955 in Kyiv. In 1990 she graduated from the M. Gorky Kharkiv State University, specialty – a philologist, Russian language and literature teacher. Later in 2003 she finished the extramural postgraduate school at the Theory of Culture and Philosophy of Science Department of the V. N. Karazin Kharkiv National University.
Her professional experience began at secondary schools in the city of Kharkiv (№ 100, № 156). She worked as a lecturer of humanities departments at the Ivan Kozhedub Kharkiv National University of Air Force (2000–2002). In 2002 she was appointed as Senior Scientist of the Scientific Department at the Ivan Kozhedub Kharkiv National University of Air Force. She taught philosophy at NTU «KhPI» (2003–2004). Since 2005 she held the position of Associate Professor of Philosophy, and in 2007 she was awarded the title of Associate Professor. In 2011 she was transferred to a position of Professor of Philosophy Department.
Candidate's dissertation (PhD) «Metaphor of Home in the semiotical model of European culture» was defended in 2003 (V. N. Karazin Kharkiv National University).
In 2010 Olga defended her doctoral dissertation on the topic «Transformation of rationality in the field of education» (the H. S. Skovoroda Kharkiv National Pedagogical University) and was awarded the degree of Doctor of Philosophy in specialty 09.00.10 – Philosophy of education.
In 2012 she became the laureate of the contest of Kharkiv city administration «The Best Scientist» in the humanitarian sciences nomination.
Professor O. O. Dolska is a recognized scholar in the field of philosophy of education in Slobozhanschyna, has been working in this field for 10 years. She is the founder of a new scientific field, associated with the solution of actual problems of education Philosophy and pedagogy Philosophy. In 2013 she was the representative of Ukraine at the World Congress of Philosophy. She took part in the work of the Russian Center for Humanities Scientific and Information research of the Russian Academy of Sciences (coauthor of publication «Rozanov Encyclopedia»); the St. Petersburg State Polytechnic University on the partnerships and organization scientific conferences for students and post-graduate students and also scientific and methodological, scientific and practical conferences for scientists and lecturers of NTU «KhPI» humanities departments and departments of the humanities Faculty of the St. Petersburg State Polytechnic University.
Professor O. O. Dolska is the academic supervisor of the lecture course «The Human in the educational space: the philosophical aspect» (at NTU «KhPI» methodical department) for teachers who improve their professional qualifications.
O. O. Dolska is the author of over 100 scientific, scientific and methodical works, including — 4 monographs, 5 collective monographs, 1 manual and 1 collective application guide.
