Bezmenov Nikolay Ivanovich is Candidate of Technical Sciences, Associate Professor of Department of System Analysis and Information-Analytical Technologies of National Technical University «Kharkiv Polytechnic Institute».
Born in 1953.
In 1977 he graduated from Kharkiv Polytechnic Institute, Engineering and Physics Faculty with a degree in Automated Control Systems.
In 1988 he defended PhD thesis «Razrabotka metodov i algoritmov gruppirovki parametrov v zadachah dekompozitsii slozhnyih tehnologicheskih protsessov» [Development of methods and algorithms for grouping parameters in the tasks of decomposition of complex technological processes] by the specialty «Automation of Technological Processes». In 2010 he received the academic title of Professor of National Technical University «Kharkiv Polytechnic Institute».
Bezmenov M. I. is permanent executive secretary of the editorial board of The Bulletin of NTU «KhPI». Series: System analysis, Control and Information technologies (first name — the Bulletin of Kharkiv Polytechnic Institute «Applied Mechanics and Control Processes»).
Work on the creation of The Bulletin of NTU «KhPI» began in 1977, and at the beginning of 1979 its first issue was published. New scientific results in the field of system analysis and control of complex systems, obtained on the basis of modern applied mathematical methods and advanced information technologies.
Mykola Ivanovych works a lot with the youth of National Technical University «Kharkiv Polytechnic Institute». He has been awarded an honorary diploma of the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine for fruitful work with gifted youth and a significant contribution to the preparation and holding of the All-Ukrainian Students’ Olympiad in Programming 2006/2007.
The sphere of scientific interests is modern information technologies, statistical methods for analyzing technical and economic systems, and processing of socio-economic information.
