The textbook presents the basic concepts, definitions and principles of designing numerical control systems, considers the main theoretical and some practical issues of preparation of control programs for CNC metal-cutting machines, provides an overview of structural diagrams of various CNC devices, and considers the main tasks of CNC systems control and principles of designing modern electric drives of machines and industrial robots.
