International Day of Women and Girls in Science

Congratulations to all women in polytechnic on the International Day of Women and Girls in Science, established by the UN General Assembly on December 22, 2015, and celebrated on February 11.
This day aims to highlight the importance of equal access for women and girls to science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) and to encourage their active participation in scientific research.
The Role of Women in Science. Women play a significant role in the advancement of science, making groundbreaking discoveries in various fields—from medicine to space technology. However, they still face obstacles in career growth and recognition of their achievements.
Promoting Science Among Girls. One of the key objectives of this day is to encourage girls to pursue science, break gender stereotypes, and create equal opportunities for everyone. It is crucial to show young generations that science is a space for all, regardless of gender.
How to Support This Day:
  • Share stories of successful female scientists;
  • Organize educational events for girls interested in STEM fields;
  • Support women in scientific activities and contribute to their professional development.

Let this day be another step towards equality, innovation, and progress!
