Dear Polytechnics! We inform you that the Scientific and Technical Library continues to fill «Electronic archive of National Technical University «Kharkiv Polytechnic Institute» (repository) with publications, scientific and methodical materials of the authors-employees of the University.
Please send materials for posting them on the library website: Breslavets Olena Volodymyrivna, olena.breslavec@khpi.edu.ua.

NTU «KhPI» scientific publications and conferences materials are transferred by the organizers to the library and posted in the repository as a whole collection (journals) as well as separately article-by-article and abstract-by-abstracts, which ensures the profiles’ filling in the Google Scholar system.

The NTU «KhPI» repository provides technical possibilities for solving many tasks. One of them is the popularization of Polytechnics’ scientific output based on the indexing and integration of information on publications to global academic resources.
One of the systems used by scientists is  Google scholar , which generates information about scientists, research topics, institutions, etc. The repository is an effective tool for author profiles filling in the Google Scholar Profiles project. Documents posted in the repository are automatically added to the authors' profiles (if settings allow).

«The electronic archive of the National Technical University «Kharkiv Polytechnic Institute» has more than 56,000 documents in open access. Despite the state of war and difficult working conditions, university employees made every effort to ensure positive dynamics of repository’s content filling. This work has received a high international evaluation. 
eNTUKhPIIR, according to TRANSPARENT RANKING: All Repositories (June 2022), which determines the level of data indexing, took 72nd place (an improvement of 5 positions per year) in the global overall list, and 2nd place (an improvement of 1 position per year) – in Ukraine  (https://repositories.webometrics.info/en/node/32).
eNTUKhPIIR provides indexing of Google Scholar documents and filling Polytechnics’author profiles presented in Google Scholar Citations. The result is the improvement of NTU «KhPI» positions in TRANSPARENT RANKING: Top Universities by Citations in Top Google Scholar profiles  (https://www.webometrics.info/en/transparent, july 2022). The university became the second among the universities of Ukraine (an improvement of 1 position in a year) and increased the total number of citations by nearly 20,000 to 119,377.
