Ponomarov Oleksandr Semenovych is Professor of the Department of Pedagogy and Psychology of Social System Management of NTU «KhPI»

Born on October 23, 1937 in the city of Antratsyt, Luhansk region (Ukraine). He graduated from the V. I. Lenin Kharkiv Polytechnic Institute. (nowadays — National Technical University «Kharkiv Polytechnic Institute») In 1972 he defended his thesis to get a degree of Technical Sciences Candidate.

Professional experience:

1973–1976 — University of Annaba (Algeria), taught the cycle of mathematical disciplines;

1976–1986 — Dean of the preparatory faculty for foreign citizens; at the same time he participated in the research for the (Scientific and Production Association) NPO «Molniya»;

1986–2000 — Assistant professor, then professor of the department of Automated Control Systems;

Since 2000 — Professor of the Department of Pedagogy and Psychology of Social System Management of NTU «KhPI»

Main research interests:

general and social philosophy; philosophy of education, professional culture and pedagogy of  its formation, innovative educational technology, methodology of knowledge and educational research methodology; management philosophy and psychology, philosophy of influence, philosophy and logic of human action; system analysis.
