Vlasova Nataliia Oleksiivna is Candidate of Economic Sciences, Professor of the Department of Management and Taxation of National Technical University «Kharkiv Polytechnic University».
She was born on February 4, 1947 in the village of Nikolske, Zvenihorod district, Moscow region (Russian Federation).
In 1967–1971 she studied at Kharkiv Institute of Public Catering (now is the Kharkiv State University of Food Technology and Trade) at the Faculty of Economics.
Specialty — «Trade Economic», qualification — «Economist». After graduating she received a diploma with distinction.
In 1979 N. O. Vlasova obtained a scientific degree of Candidate of Economic Sciences. The defense of N. O. Vlasova's dissertation took place in the Specialized Academic Council of H.V. Plekhanov Moscow Institute of National Economy (now is H.V. Plekhanov Russian University of Economics) on the topic «Problemy efektyvnosti vykorystannia oborotnykh zasobiv u hromadskomu kharchuvanni» [The problems of the efficiencient use of circulating assets in public catering]
In 1988 N. O. Vlasova obtained the academic title of Associate Professor, and in 1999 — Professor.
In 1971 she started working at the Kharkiv Institute of Public Catering (now is the Kharkiv State University of Nutrition and Trade) as Assistant, then Senior lecturer and Associate Professor. In 1989–2014 she headed the Department of Economics of Food and Trade Enterprises.
From September 2014 she worked as Professor at the Department of International Business and Finance of National Technical University «Kharkiv Polytechnic Institute». Since September 2021 N. O. Vlasova has been Professor at the Department of Management and Taxation of National Technical University «Kharkiv Polytechnic Institute».
N. O. Vlasova's total scientific and pedagogical experience is 50 years. Her contribution to the development of education and scientific achievements has been highly appreciated by the state:
- 1997 — the badge of the Ministry of Education and Culture of Ukraine «Excellent in Education of Ukraine»;
- 2009 — the honorary badge of the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine named after «Petr Mohyla»;
- 2012 — the honorary badge «For Scientific Achievements».
During 2005–2015 N. O. Vlasova was an expert of the Scientific Council of the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine in the field of «Economics» (section No. 17). Since 2018 Professor N. O. Vlasova has been Associate Member of the Ukrainian Association for Management Development and Business Education.
N. O. Vlasova's field of scientific interests: financial and economic problems of managing the results of economic activity of industrial enterprises in conditions of uncertainty; financial, economic and organizational problems of trade and services development.
Over the past 6 years such publications with N. A. Vlasova's participation and under her scientific editorship have been prepared and published: 1 textbook with the stamp of National Technical University «Kharkiv Polytechnic Institute» «Finansy pidpryiemstv» [Finance of Enterprises] (2018), 2 textbooks with the stamp of the Ministry of Education and Culture of Ukraine: «Ekonomika torhivli» [Trading Economics] (2015) and «Ekonomika restorannoho hospodarstva» [Restaurant Business] (2013, 2017), 1 training manual «Finansy pidpryiemstv» [Finance of Enterprises] (2020).
N. A. Vlasova took part in the development of the educational and methodological manual for self-study of the discipline «Hroshi i kredyt» [Money and Credit] and 2 electronic publications: lecture notes on the disciplines «Ekonomika pidpryiemstv» [Economics of Enterprises] and «Osnovy finansovoho menedzhmentu» [Fundamentals of Financial Management].
Under the scientific supervision of Professor N. O. Vlasova, 25 candidates of economic sciences have been trained. Specialty 08.00.04 — Economics and management of enterprises (by types of economic activity).
Professor N. A. Vlasova is the author of more than 450 scientific and scientific-methodical publications, including 26 monographs, more than 300 articles and theses, more than 115 educational and methodological papers (including 15 textbooks with the stamp of the Ministry of Education and Culture of Ukraine), 5 Copyright Registration Certificates.
