The basic constructive schemes of the steam generators of nuclear power plants, their classification and thermal schemes of the NPP with reactors of different types are considered in the training manual. The issues related to the use of a variety of constructional materials for steam generators production as well as effects of radiation and various mediums on materials are taken into consideration. The paper presents a special heat and hydraulic calculation of steam generators of various types and characteristics of the processes occurring in them. Briefly outlined the methods for calculating the components of steam generators on the strength and the basis of mathematical modeling of steam generator NPP.
The publication is intended for lecturers, post-graduate students and students of polytechnic, power engineering and other universities, as well as for specialists in the field of nuclear energetics.
