The training manual deals with the main issues related to the modeling of metal- cutting processes and the use of existing theoretical models in the practice of scientific research in mechanical engineering. The complex of software and the methodology of its use in conducting research of various methods of metal processing and optimization of processing modes are considered.
All topics under consideration are provided with problem solving examples and reference materials for further use of the software package in practice, as well as an individual task for each student for independent work in the process of performing a calculation-graphic task.
Designed for students of the specialty 131 – «Applied Mechanics» and other specialties in the field of knowledge 13 – «Mechanical Engineering».
