Kuzmenko Oleksandr Vasyliovych is PhD (Candidate of Pedagogical Sciences), Associate Professor of the Law Department of National Technical University «Kharkiv Polytechnic Institute».
Born on February 2, 1957, in Kharkiv.
In 1979 he graduated from the Faculty of History and Philology of Kaliningrad State University (now is Immanuel Kant Baltic Federal University, Kaliningrad, Russian Federation). For the next 28 years, he worked as a teacher of history, social studies and law in gymnasium No. 23 in Kharkiv. In 2007 he graduated from Yaroslav Mudryi National Law Academy (Kharkiv, Ukraine) and obtained the second higher education.
He has been working at National Technical University «Kharkiv Polytechnic Institute» since 2007. He teaches «Jurisprudence» and «Contract law». He has experience in teaching the disciplines «Labor Law», «Civil Legislation», «Legal Foundations of Management Activities». Scientific interests: law, didactics of higher and secondary schools, pedagogical psychology.
O. V. Kuzmenko is the author of more than 100 scientific and educational-methodical papers. He is a member of the expert group of the Jurisprudence Commission at the Scientific and Methodological Council of the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine.
As a member of the working groups and competition commissions of the Ministry, O. V. Kuzmenko participated in the development and improvement of jurisprudence curriculums for general secondary education institutions, and the selection of draft textbooks on this subject.
Repeatedly he was the chairman of the jury of Kharkiv regional contest «The Teacher of the Year» in the nomination «Jurisprudence science».
O. V. Kuzmenko teaches at advanced training courses for law teachers in Kharkiv region. During the years of work, he trained more than 60 schoolchildren who won at the IV stage of the All-Ukrainian Olympiad in jurisprudence. Associate Professor O. V. Kuzmenko is engaged in a consulting law practice. He is a valid member Bar Association of Ukraine. In 1990 O. V. Kuzmenko was awarded the badge «Excellent in Education of Ukraine» and received the pedagogical title «The Teacher-Methodologists».
