Kryzhnyi Hryhorii Kyrylovych is Candidate of Technical Sciences, Professor of the Department Integrated Technologies of Mechanical Engineering named after M. F. Semko of National Technical University «Kharkiv Polytechnic Institute».
Born on January 23, 1946 in the village Kotelva of Poltava region. After fiishing school, he entered Kharkiv Aviation Institute (nowadays — M. Ye. Zhukovskyi National Aerospace University «Kharkiv Aviation Institute»), the Aircraft Engineering Faculty.
After graduation in 1969, he worked at the scientific division of Kharkiv Aviation Institute and studied at postgraduate school. In 1980 defended Ph.D. thesis on the subject of sheet stamping using pulsed methods and received the degree of Candidate of Technical Sciences.
Hryhorii Kyrylovych has been a member of student construction teams on the construction of the Abakan-Taishet railway (his Komsomol permit has been left as a display item in the local history museum in the city of Minusinsk), the Surgut-Novy Urengoy railway, and military facilities in Kamchatka.
Fond of cycling: has visited the Carpathians, the Crimea, the Caucasus.
Since 1984, H. K. Kryzhnyi has been working at Kharkiv Polytechnic Institute (now — National Technical University «Kharkiv Polytechnic Institute») as a Senior Lecturer, Associate professor, and Professor.
Research interests: aircraft engine production technology, technology management, technology marketing, technology innovation marketing.
H. K. Kryzhnyi is the author of more than 40 scientific researches, 58 inventions and 35 educational publications.
