The textbook deals with analytical and numerical methods for calculating magnetic fields and determining the electromagnetic and power parameters of electrical devices on this basis. The theory and principles of calculating transient processes in nonlinear electromagnetic systems, variable electromagnetic fields and eddy currents are presented. All this is adapted to real electrical engineering objects, starting from a single conductor and ending with electric machines. A number of covered topics are provided with examples of problem solving.
The textbook is intended for domestic and foreign students and postgraduates of the electrical engineering profile.
