Podustov Mykhailo Oleksiiovych is Doctor of Technical Sciences, Professor, Head of the Department of Technology System Automation and Ecology Monitoring of National Technical University «Kharkiv Polytechnic Institute».
Born on October 5, 1945.
M. O. Podustov began his career as Aassistant at the Department of «Automation of Chemical Production» of Kharkiv Polytechnic Institute (now is the Department of «Technology System Automation and Ecology Monitoring» of National Technical University «Kharkiv Polytechnic Institute».
The scientific activity of Podustov M. O. is connected with the solution of the most urgent problems on control systems in the ecologically oriented energy-and resource-saving production of surface-active substances (surfactants): obtaining modern safe surfactants, fire extinguishing foam agents. Using his developed technology for the production of surfactants under increased pressure for the first time solves the problem to stop dumping liquid and gaseous emissions into the environment.
Professor M. O. Podustov teaches academic disciplines:
- Fundamentals of designing automation systems;
- Design, installation and operation of automation systems;
- Design of computer-integrated systems;
- Ecological safety.
Over the years of scientific and pedagogical activity, M. O. Podustov completed a large number of contractual and state budget scientific works, published more than 280 scientific papers, including textbooks, training manuals and monographs. He is the author of many copyright certificates, patents for utility models and inventions, articles in domestic and foreign publications.
