Nekrasov Pavlo Oleksandrovych

Born on March 14, 1979 in the city of Kharkiv.
In 2001 he graduated with a master's degree from National Technical University «Kharkiv Polytechnic Institute» and obtained the qualification of an engineer-chemist-researcher. In the same year he entered full-time post-graduate school. In 2004 he defended Ph.D. thesis «Fermentna tekhnolohiia modyfikuvannia zhyriv» [Enzyme technology of fats modification] for the degree of Candidate of Technical Sciences.
The academic title of Associate Professor in 2007.
In 2011 he completed his doctoral studies ahead of schedule and defended doctoral thesis «Naukovo–praktychni osnovy tekhnolohii zhyriv funktsionalnoho pryznachennia» [Scientific and practical foundations of functional fats technology] and received a doctorate in technical specialty 05.18.06 — technology of fats, essential oils, and perfumes and cosmetics products.
The academic title of Professor of the Department of Fats and Fermentation Products Technology in 2012.
In the period from 2004 to 2005 he became a scholarship holder of Kharkiv Regional State Administration among young scientists. In 2012 and 2013 he became a scholarship holder of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine among the most talented young scientists.
From 2001 to the present, Pavlo Oleksandrovych Nekrasov has been working at the Department of Fats and Fermentation Products Technology of National Technical University «Kharkiv Polytechnic Institute». Over a period of 11 years he started as Assistant Lecturer and worked his way up to become Professor.
P. O. Nekrasov is a member of 2 specialized scientific councils for the defense of candidate and doctoral dissertations: D 64.050.05 at National Technical University «Kharkiv Polytechnic Institute» and D 41.088.02 at the Odessa National Academy of Food Technologies. In addition, he is a member of the educational and methodical commission on food technologies of the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine.
Professor P. A. Nekrasov continues the traditions of NTU «KhPI» academic school on energy-saving enzymatic technologies for processing fats and problems associated with the investigation of biocatalytic processes of modifying acylglycerols and their derivatives.
Author of over 100 scientific publications, including 4 study guides. As a supervisor, he has prepared 2 Candidates of Technical Sciences in the specialty 05.18.06 — technology of fats, essential oils, and perfumes and cosmetics products.
