Tverytnykova Olena Yevhenivna is Doctor of Historical Sciences, Associate Professor, Professor of the Department of Data Measuring Technologies and Systems of National Technical University «Kharkiv Polytechnic Institute».
Olena Yevhenivna has been working at NTU «KhPI» since 1992.
In 2009 she defended Ph.D. thesis on the topic «Vnesok Uchenykh Kharkivskoho Tekhnolohichnoho тa Elektrotekhnichnoho Instytutiv U Rozvytok Elektrotekhnichnoi Haluzi Ukrainy (1885–1950)» [The contribution of scientists of Kharkiv Technological Institute and Kharkiv Electrotechnical Institute to the development of the electrical engineering industry of Ukraine (1885-1950)].
In 2018 she defended doctoral dissertation on the topic «Naukove Zabezpechennia Rozvytku Elektrotekhnichnoi Haluzi Ukrainy (1945–1991) [Scientific support for the development of the electrical engineering industry of Ukraine (1945–1991)].
Olena Yevhenivna's scientific interests are the history of science and technology (particularly, history of the development of technical sciences, and NTU «KhPI» scientific and technical schools), computer science, and information technology adoption to measuring systems.
O. Ye. Tverytnykova is the author of about 200 scientific publications, including 5 monographs, and 12 training and methodological editions.
