The textbook outlines the basics of the discipline «Systems Theory and System Analysis»: the role and place of system analysis (SA) among the methods of scientific knowledge, the conceptual apparatus, models, methods and tools of SA; a methodology for analyzing economic and technical problems based on universal graphical methods, such as «Problem Tree Analysis», «Tree of Goals», SA methodology. Considerable attention is paid to the method of the analysis of hierarchies (MAH), which has established itself as one of the most promising and effective.
The textbook is intended for students, graduate students, engineers and lecturers who are interested in using systems analysis methods to investigate problems found in the technical sphere, production and entrepreneurship.
