Nekrasov Oleksandr Pavlovych is Candidate of Technical Sciences, Professor of the Department of Physical Chemistry of National Technical University «Kharkiv Polytechnic Institute».

Born in 1947.

In 1972 he graduated with honors from Kharkiv Polytechnic Institute (now is National Technical University «Kharkiv Polytechnic Institute»). He has been working at the Department of Physical Chemistry since 1980. From 1980 to 1981 — Senior Lecturer; from 1981 to 1996 — Associate Professor, Deputy Head of the university's research department; since 1996 — Professor, and from 1993 to 2018 — Dean of the Faculty of Organic Substances Technology (now is the Institute of Education and Science in Chemical Technologies and Engineering of National Technical University «Kharkiv Polytechnic Institute»).

Nekrasov O. P. teaches courses: physical and colloidal chemistry; surface phenomena and dispersed systems.

During all this time Nekrasov O. P. have been taking an active part in the social life of the University. He started as a member of the Trade Union Bureau of the Mechanical and Technological Faculty, then of the Faculty of Organic Substances Technology. From 1981 to 1983 — Head of the Trade Union Bureau of the Faculty of Technology of Organic Substances. From 1984 to 1989 — Chairman of the Trade Union Committee of Kharkiv Polytechnic Institute. For his achievements in educational and social work, Oleksandr Pavlovich was awarded the medal «Distinguisher of the Higher School of the USSR», the honorary award of Kharkiv Regional Council «Slobozhanska Slava», he has certificates from the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine, as well as the Central Committee of the Trade Union, etc.

Professor Nekrasov O. P. is the author of more than 90 scientific and educational publications, including 12 patents and 4 textbooks with the stamp of the Ministry of Education and Culture of Ukraine.
