Miroshnichenko Denis Viktorovych is Doctor of Technical Sciences, Professor, Head of the Oil, Gas and Solid Fuel Refining Technologies Department of National Technical University «Kharkiv Polytechnic Institute».

Born on August 14, 1979 in the city of Kharkiv.

In 2002 Miroshnichenko D. V. graduated from National Technical University «Kharkiv Polytechnic Institute» majoring in «Chemical Technology of Fuels and Carbon Materials» and qualified as a chemical engineer-researcher. Since then he began to work at the Ukrainian State Coal and Chemical Research Institute of the Ministry of Industrial Policy of Ukraine (UKHIN); Since 2009 he has been teaching at National Technical University «Kharkiv Polytechnic Institute». Since 2017 he has been Head of the Oil, Gas and Solid Fuel Refining Technologies Department of National Technical University «Kharkiv Polytechnic Institute».

In 2006 he defended his dissertation «Optimization of reactivity as an integral indicator of coke quality» for the degree of Candidate of Technical Sciences, the specialty 07.05.07 - Chemical Technology of Fuel and Combustible-Lubricating Materials;

In 2017 he defended his dissertation «Development of the theory and practice of using oxidized coal for the production of blast furnace coke» for the degree of Doctor of Technical Sciences, the specialty 05.17.07 - Chemical Technology of Fuel and Combustible-Lubricating Materials.

The field of scientific interests: the development and implementation of methods for assessing and improving the yield and quality of blast furnace coke and chemical coking products at the research, design and coke chemical enterprises of Kharkiv region and Ukraine, as well as the assessment of the quality of oil and gas condensate from Kharkiv deposits region.

Professor D. V. Miroshnichenko is Head of the Scientific School «Chemistry and technology of coke-chemical production and processing of solid, liquid and gaseous combustible fossils» of National Technical University «Kharkiv Polytechnic Institute».

D. V. Miroshnichenko is the Laureate award of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine for Special Achievements of Youth in the Development of Ukraine (2010), the Laureate award of the President of Ukraine for Young Scientists (2018).

  • Modern technologies of processing hydrocarbon raw materials.
