Abstract
Primary tabs
The most important properties of metals, non-metals and metalloids are systematized and summarized in accordance with their location in the periodic system; the acid-base and oxidation-reduction properties of compounds (oxides, hydroxides, salts) in different oxidation states of the elements are analyzed.
Particular attention is paid to the simplicity of material presentation and the use of compounds in various areas of production and everyday life. The logic of chemical interactions is systematized and presented in the form of visual diagrams.
It is intended for lecturers, post-graduate students and students of higher educational institutions of the specialties: 161 – «Chemical Technologies and Engineering», 162 – «Biotechnologies and Bioengineering», 181 – «Food Technologies», 183 – «Technologies of Environmental Protection», 185 – «Oil and Gas engineering and Technologies».
