Hasanov Magomedemin Isamagomedovych — Vice-Rector for scientific and pedagogical work, Doctor of Technical sciences, Full PhD, Professor of the Department of Mechanical Engineering and Metal-Cutting Machines Technology of the National Technical University «Kharkiv Polytechnic Institute».
He was born in 1962 in the village of Miureho, Serhokalynskyi district (Republic of Dagestan). In 1984, he entered Kharkiv Polytechnic Institute (now— the National Technical University «Kharkiv Polytechnic Institute»). Being a student, he worked as a commander of student camps in Novy Urengoy and Kharkiv.
In 1990 M. I. Hasanov graduated with honors from the Mchanical Engineering Faculty of Kharkiv Polytechnic Institute, and was appointed to the position of an engineer at the Department of Automation and Complex Mechanization of Mechanical Engineering. During 1992–1996 studied at university's post-graduate school under prof. N.K. Bezzubenko’s supervision.
In 1993–1994 he worked as a senior lecturer at the Department of Automation and Complex Mechanization of Mechanical Engineering, and from 1994 to 2000 at the Department of Mechanical Engineering and Metal-Cutting Machines Technologies. Also, from 1993 to 2015, he held the position of Deputy Dean of the Mechanical Engineering Faculty for scientific and educational work. In 1998 he undertook internship with students at the Technical University of Miskolc (Hungary).
In 2000 Magomedemin Isamagomedovych received a PhD degree in Technical Sciences in the specialty «Mechanical processing processes, machine tools and tools», having defended a PhD thesis on the topic «Povyshenie effektivnosti almazno-iskrovogo shlifovaniya putem obespecheniya ostroty rezhushchego rel'efa kruga v rezhime uvelichennyh glubin» [Increasing the efficiency of diamond-spark grinding by ensuring the sharpness of the cutting wheel relief in the mode of increased depths] In the same year he received the academic title of Associate Professor of the department.
In 2013 M. I. Hasanov was awarded the academic title of Professor of the National Technical University «Kharkiv Polytechnic Institute».
Since 2015, Prof. M. I. Hasanov has been working as Vice-Rector for scientific and pedagogical work (the administrative and economic part) of the National Technical University «Kharkiv Polytechnic Institute». Under his leadership, in 2015, the Computer and Technology College of the National Technical University «Kharkiv Polytechnic Institute», dormitory No. 4, the gymnasium and dance hall in the Student’s Palace, lecture hall were overhauled; dormitory No. 2 was reconstructed and put into operation, etc.
