Deyneka D. M. has been working at National Technical University «Kharkiv Polytechnic Institute» since 2003.

In 2007 he defended his dissertation for the degree of Candidate of Technical Sciences, the specialty «Technology of Inorganic Substances». Dissertation topic: «Tekhnolohiia adsorbentu dlia ulovliuvannia spoluk platynovykh metaliv» [The adsorbent technology for capturing platinum metal compounds].  The dissertation is devoted to the development of adsorbent technology based on oxides of alkaline earth metals for the capture of platinum group metals lost in the production of nitric acid.
