Berezutskyi Viacheslav Volodymyrovych is Doctor of Technical Sciences, Professor, Head of the Occupational and Environmental Safety Department of National Technical University «Kharkiv Polytechnic Institute».
The field of scientific interests: human life safety, purification of industrial wastewater, the development and creation of closed local water circulation systems of industrial water use, regeneration of lubricating and emulsion waters, etc.
Professor V. V. Berezutsky has developed a technology and equipment for water purification containing chrom and other metals ions. This technology is based on the impurity withdrawal to the specified technological norms areachived, followed by returning water to production.
The main constructive difference of the proposed technology is the equipment developed by V. V. Berezutskyi. The technology and equipment passed experimental-industrial tests and were implemented in the number of industrial enterprises of Kharkiv, Zaporizhzhia, and others.
The scientific contribution of V.V. Berezutskyi numbers more than 250 publications including: monographs «Teoretychni osnovy bezpeky zhyttiediialnosti» [Theoretical Foundations of Life Safety], «Tekhnohenna bezpeka mastylno-emulsiinykh vod»[Technogenic Safety of Lubricating and Emulsifying Waters], training manuals «Vybir zasobiv ta metodiv zapobihannia zabrudnennia biosfery promyslovymy stichnymy vodamy» [The Choice of Means and Methods to Prevent the Biosphere Pollution by Industrial Wastewater], «Ekolohichni aspekty vykorystannia mastylno-okholodzhuiuchykh ridyn» [Ecological aspects of CLL usage], as well as co-authored training manuals «Osnovy okhorony pratsi» [Fundamentals of occupational safety], «Laboratornyi praktykum z kursu «Osnovy okhorony pratsi» [Laboratory manual for the course «Fundamentals of occupational safety»]
As a well-known scientist V.V. Berezutskiy is the member of the Commission of the Ministry of Education of Ukraine on Civil Protection.
