Fedorenko Olena Yuriivna — Doctor of Technical Sciences, Professor of the Department of Technology of Ceramics, Refractories, Glass and Enamels of NTU «KhPI».
She defended her dissertation for the degree of Candidate of Technical Sciences in the specialty 05.17.11 «Polifunktsionalni sklokrystalichni pokryttia na osnovi systemy CaO – MgO – Al2O3 – SiO2» [Polyfunctional glass-crystal coatings based on the system CaO - MgO - Al2O3 - SiO2].
Densely baked ceramics of various functional purposes with a low firing temperature
She defended her dissertation for the degree of Doctor of Technical Sciences in the specialty 05.17.11 «Shchilnospechena keramika riznoho funktsionalnoho pryznachennia iz znyzhenoiu temperaturoiu vypalu» [Densely baked ceramics of various functional purposes with low firing temperature].
Her research interests:
- theoretical bases of production and technology of functional ceramics and protective coatings;
- low-temperature synthesis of high-resource ceramic and composite materials;
- research of mineral raw materials of Ukraine and development of technologies of its use in production of various functional purpose ceramics.
Co-author of 2 monographs and 2 textbooks (Ukrainian, German and Russian), as well as 10 teaching aids.
Author of more than 300 scientific publications, including more than 50 articles in peer-reviewed journals, 32 patents, as well as abstracts and texts of reports in conference proceedings, meetings and symposiums.
20 years of teaching experience and training specialists in refractory and non-metallic silicate materials.
Supervisor of economic and contractual projects.
Prepared 4 candidates of technical sciences in specialty 05.17.11 and 13 masters in specialty 8.05130104.
Supervisor of 2 post-graduate students and 4 masters.
In 2009 she was awarded with a gold medal of the V International Salon of Inventions and New Technologies «Novyi chas» (Sevastopol).
She was awarded with honorable certificates for assistance in preparing scientific papers of students who became winners of All-Ukrainian and regional competitions (2008, 2009, 2010, 2011, 2012, 2013, 2014, 2015).
In 2011 she was awarded with a diploma of the XIII regional competition «Krashchi imena» of the Kharkiv Regional State Administration in the nomination «Professionally-oriented Disciplines Teacher».
