The training manual provides information about gas stations in Ukraine, the production of petroleum, oil and lubricants (POL), and special fluids used in the operation of automotive vehicles. The physicochemical and operational properties of petroleum, oil and lubricants (POL), which affect the reliability of engines and units of automotive vehicles, as well as the reliability and efficiency of their operation are considered.
The training manual was written in accordance with the program for the discipline «Cars and tractors design and their analysis», «Design of cars and their analysis», «Internal combustion engines», «Specialized rolling stock of road transport for students of the National Technical University «Kharkov Polytechnic Institute», and can also be useful for specialists of gas stations, automobile and special transport.
