For the first time, the textbook on hydropower presents all aspects of modern theory and design of hydropneumatic actuators and hydropneumatic automation, design of hydraulic turbines, volumetric hydraulic machines, pumps and reversible hydraulic machines. The authors paid great attention to the regulation of hydraulic turbines and design of hydropneumatic actuators with high accuracy of positioning of actuators for control systems. The theory and methods of design are illustrated by numerous examples of construction schemes of industrial facilities. The modern material of the textbook is of great interest to students studing the relevant courses, as well as for post-graduate students majoring in the design of hydraulic machines and hydropneumatic actuators for hydropower.
