On December 5, 2023, from 1:00 p.m. to 2:30 p.m., a remote scientific and practical seminar «Volunteers are the Heroes of Our Time» will be held on the basis of the Scientific and Technical Library, which is organized for the All-Ukrainian campaign «16 Days of Action Against Violence» and the International Volunteer Day.The Magic of Winter Holidays!

Day of Protection of Older Persons
On June 15, 2023, on the occasion of the Day of Protection of the Elderly, the Information and Resource Center «Without Barriers!» of the NTU «KhPI» Scientific and Technical Library and the Territorial Center for the Social Services Provision of the Sloboda District of Kharkiv held a joint complex event within the «Bibliomix «We’re together!» project.
Round Table «Information Barrier-Free Space»
On March 15, 2023 Round table «Information Barrier-Free Space» was held on the basis of Pokotylivka library-branch for adults of the «Public Library of the Vysoky Village Council» of Kharkiv region. The participants of the meeting discussed the current problems of library activities in wartime conditions, exchanged experience and presented «Barrier-Free Handbook» to people with disabilities. They also discussed the priority tasks of the Plan of Events for 2023-2024 to create a barrier-free space.
Our partner is Communal Institution «Krysynskyi Lyceum»
On February 28, 2023 the webinar «Academic Integrity as the Basis of Successful Learning» was held for students of senior classes by Communal institution «Krysynskyi litsei». We continue cooperation and joint events with educational institutions-partners of STL NTU «KhPI». Thereby, a plan of joint activities for lyceum students is being implemented: to improve student motivation to learn, academic integrity, media literacy and vocational guidance for pupils of the 9, 11 grades. The project «Art therapy with art» has also been developed to relieve emotional tension in stressful situations. We invite everyone to cooperate!
Barrier-Free Handbook
The Scientific and Technical Library received a gift — a printed version of the «Barrier-Free Handbook». This publication is useful for organizing the work of the Information and Resource Center «Without Barriers» and will enrich library readers with knowledge. A large team of specialists worked on it - people whose experience and knowledge made it possible to describe actions in various difficult life situations.
Good start to 2023!
The Scientific and Technical Library started the new 2023 year by actively cooperating with Kharkiv educational institutions. At the beginning of January 2023, the Information and Resource Center «Without Barriers» and Kharkiv Specialized School I-III levels No.114 of Kharkiv City Council held a number of joint events.
3 December is the International day of people with Disabilities
Every year, on December 3, Ukraine celebrates the International Day of People with Disabilities. Understanding the relevance and importance of social support for students with special educational needs and the creation of an inclusive environment, on December 3, 2021, the Information and Resource Center «Without Barriers» began operating in the Scientific and Technical Library of NTU «KhPI».
