Day of Physical Culture and Sports

On September 10, 2022 Ukraine celebrates the Day of Physical Culture and Sports. On this day, professional athletes and all connoisseurs of a healthy lifestyle receive greetings.

Without a doubt, physically and spiritually developed people have always been the backbone of society. Physical training hardens not only the body, but also the human spirit, help to develop such qualities as will, purposefulness, perseverance and nobility.

Ukraine has always been famous for its sports talents and achievements.

Dear athletes! You have worthily proven yourself in competitions at various levels, you have won glory for Ukraine with bright victories, you honorably continue the traditions of educating a physically hardened, healthy young generation, because physical education is the health of the nation of Ukraine. We are proud of you!

The best results in modern sports are achieved by motivated athletes. Don't put off training until tomorrow, go in for sports right now! Let sports into your life, and you will feel how your worldview changes.

Why don't you do sports? Say “NO” to your excuses! Are you too tired at work, have to work late all the time, do not have the opportunity to train??? If the reason you don't do sports is on this list, it's not a reason, but an excuse!

I don't have time to train. Research shows that health-strengthening exercises don’t have to be energy-intensive and long-lasting. 15 minutes a day is enough for training, the exercises are effective even at home!!!

I don't know how to train. To get started, start moving – walking, running, jumping, squatting, doing exercises on your own, and you will understand whether you need heavy loads and a gym.

I can't train. Are you saying you're in very bad shape to train and improve yourself? It is enough to be physically active according to your ability.

Training is painful and dangerous. The training selected according to the level of the physical development will be safe. Who trains more than their physical individual's abilities, can get injured.

I am too tired at work. Physical activity on a regular basis makes the body more durable. After a couple of months of playing sports, you will begin to notice that you are much less tired at work and do much more.

It's too expensive to train. The bare minimum for training is a pair of athletic shoes and comfortable clothes. If you think that sports are expensive, then try to estimate the costs of treatment that will be required with a sedentary lifestyle.

I'm too old to train. For men over the age of 45 and women over the age of 55, physical activity becomes more important than in previous years. The rate of aging, decline of strength and mental abilities depends on how active you are.

I do not believe that sports will help me. Try it, do the exercises, the first week, the second, the third... And you will see how it will have a positive effect on your activity, endurance and emotional stability.
