The National Technical University «Kharkiv Polytechnic Institute» (NTU «KhPI») is the organizer of the annual International School–Seminar «Modern Pedagogical Technologies in Education». The School–Seminar has been held at Kharkiv Polytechnic since 2004. Since 2021, the event has been conducted in an online format.
The aim of the School of Pedagogy is to familiarize participants with modern technologies of the pedagogical process that are developing worldwide and contribute to improving the quality of education; with contemporary requirements for the professional activity of higher education teachers; to facilitate the exchange of experience in new approaches to education and personal development; and to enhance the professional skills of academic and teaching staff. Each year, the School–Seminar confirms its high level of expertise and innovative character
The School–Seminar brings together participants in the educational process from educational institutions of various cities of Ukraine and countries around the world. Among the participants are university lecturers and librarians, postgraduate students and students, secondary school teachers and methodologists, sociologists, and psychologists.
The School–Seminar is conducted in the form of interactive educational activities, including pedagogical workshops, STEM laboratories, master classes, business games, trainings, discussions, demonstrations, and presentations aimed at improving the effectiveness of professional activity in the field of education. The workshops are led by leading lecturers of NTU «KhPI». A significant contribution to the work of the workshops is traditionally made by the Department of Pedagogy and Psychology of Social Systems Management named after Academician A. Zyazyun of NTU «KhPI». The organizer of the School–Seminar is the Methodological Department of NTU «KhPI». Developing the pedagogical mastery of academic and teaching staff is among the priority tasks of the Methodological Department. Based on the outcomes of the School–Seminar, the Methodological Department annually compiles collections of papers titled «Modern Pedagogical Technologies in Education».
 

The 23rd International School–Seminar «Modern Pedagogical Technologies in Education» at NTU «KhPI» is held from April 6 to April 10, 2026. The School is conducted online via the ZOOM platform.

Specialists from foreign educational institutions acquaint the school participants with international teaching experience (in English): at the SRM Institute of Science and Technology, Ramapuram Campus (India); the European Schoolnet, STEM School Label (Belgium); the Hands-On Science Network (Spain); and the University of Minho (Portugal).
