At your service – the “Information Consulting” service
Primary tabs
Dear Polytechnics!
We invite you to take advantage of the new “Information Consulting” service starting from April 1, 2026!
Rules of Operation of the “Information Consulting” Service
The “Information Consulting” service is a free online service designed to collect and promptly fulfill one-time requests related to information search. Responses are prepared using the library’s and the university’s own and external electronic resources.
How It Works
You may submit your request at any time convenient for you (24/7) via a dedicated online form. Your request will be forwarded to a subject-matter library specialist, who will prepare a response and send it to your email address used for authorization.
How to Submit a Request
-
To access the form, you must log in using the university’s corporate email.
-
Complete the required fields in the form:
-
User information: full name, category, department, phone number. This information is required so that the librarian can contact you if clarification of the request is needed.
-
Select a service: indicate the required type of information consultation from the provided list or describe your own request in the “Other” field.
-
Specify the request in detail: try to describe as fully and accurately as possible what you are looking for. This will significantly speed up the librarian’s work and ensure the most accurate results.
Processing Time
-
Requests that do not require complex bibliographic research are completed within 1–2 working days.
- The maximum processing time (depending on specificity and complexity) is up to 5 working days.
- Please note: if a request is submitted on weekends, public holidays, or outside working hours, the processing time begins on the next working day.
Service Limitations
The library does not process requests if:
-
They involve providing ready-made essays, term papers, theses, dissertations, etc.
- The requests violate current Ukrainian legislation, breach moral or ethical standards, or contain inappropriate questions.
