Peace for Every Family!
Primary tabs
Live, Ukraine, live for beauty,
For strength, for truth, for freedom!..
Rustle, Ukraine, like your native forests,
Like the wind across the open field…

As part of career guidance activities, on September 19, 2026, the socio-cultural event “Peace for Every Family!” was held.Despite these difficult times, Kharkiv Polytechnic and the Scientific and Technical Library traditionally celebrate one of the most important holidays for our country, the International Day of Peace, with great dedication!
The holiday is celebrated annually on September 21. On this day, we should all reflect on what peace on Earth truly means!
In 1982, the United Nations General Assembly proclaimed the International Day of Peace (International Day of Peace) as a day of global ceasefire and non-violence. Since then, the observance has engaged millions of people across many countries. This day encourages people not only to think about peace but also to do something to promote it.
The students and teachers of the Municipal Institution “Pokotylivka Lyceum No. 2” and the Municipal Institution “Pokotylivka Lyceum ‘Promin’” joined the event. The students, with great enthusiasm, created a collaborative poster entitled “Palette of Peace”; participated in a fun physical activity session; took part in thematic quizzes. Each participant also created their own emblem featuring symbols of peace.

We all strive for peace! For peace is not merely a word. It is the opportunity to be close to our loved ones, to learn, to make friends, to dream, to read books, to laugh, and to build our future.
Today especially, we wish that every child may have the opportunity to live in a world where childhood remains childhood rather than a wait for silence.
We wish everyone peace, safety, bright thoughts, and the fulfillment of the most cherished dream – to live under a peaceful sky!
