Nahaitseva Nina Ivanivna — Head of the Department of Social and Economic Sciences of the International Education Faculty, Professor of the National Technical University «Kharkiv Polytechnic Institute», Associate Professor, PhD (Candidate of Philological Sciences).
Born in the city of Rostov-on-Don (the Russian Federation).
In 1972 she graduated from the Philological Faculty of the Rostov State University (nowadays — Southern Federal University).
Since 1977 she has been working at the preparatory faculty for foreign citizens (nowadays — the International Education Faculty) of National Technical University «Kharkiv Polytechnic Institute».
In 1981–1984 years she was a post-graduate student of the Philological faculty of Patrice Lumumba Peoples’ Friendship University (nowadays — Peoples' Friendship University of Russia) (c. Moscow). In 1985 she defended her thesis «The comparison of scientific and official-business style of speech in the aspect of actual division of the sentence». Academic rank of Associate Professor in 1991 and the title of Professor of NTU «KhPI» were received in 2004.
She worked at the University of Madagascar (Democratic Republic of Madagascar) and at the University of Vienna and Alpen Adria University Klagenfurt (Austria).
The main directions of research are communicative syntax, theoretical grammar, the theory and practice of textbooks and training manuals in Russian as a foreign language creation.
