The textbook is oriented to lecturers teaching foreign students the Russian language at the initial stage of studying at Ukrainian universities. It's intended for 100-120 hours of classroom time. The course trains phonetic and phonological, graphics and elements of orthography basics. In the field of grammar students receive information about the case system of nouns in singular, Russian verbs Conjugation and the structure of a simple sentence. It consists of 15 classes (including two classes «Test yourself!» with the answer keys), 10 grammar tables, 10 conversational topics with the plan of questions, the dictionary to each lesson with grammatical notes and Russian-English dictionary (about 450 words).
The textbook can be useful to teachers working with foreign nationals.
